I will be getting my 08 serviced tomorrow, the Actuator went bad and needs to be replaced and the part just came in. But I'm getting stuck a lot. I have been riding mostly short distances (15-30 minute runs) but several times after a 30 minute run and a 2-3 hour of the bike just sitting there I came out to find a dead battery. Since I'm out on the road I have to jump start my bike with a car and another bike. The last couple of times the tech and speedo needles would bounce but the start button would do nothing. After get the bike jumped off I was able to ride it home and the bike would restart fine until I rode it again the next time. Then when I would turn the key to the off position all the symbol lights would came on. A couple of times after not riding for several days my battery would be totally dead and I would have to charge it up. Any ideas? | ||

You sure you are turning the key to off, and not to the parking light setting? |
