Well, at long last, here she is in final form.

The bags are Hardigg Storm Cases mounted to a Fehlings rack. The top case, a Road Hound dog carrier. The Parabellum shield is everything I hoped it would be, it does a great job reducing air pressure at highway speeds with virtually no increase in helmet buffeting.

This is the touring bike I've been looking for ever since the day I started to ride.

I'm 5'8", 29" inseam, and the shield is the short version (clear 22" shield). My dog is a terrier/corgi mix who weighs in at 24 pounds.

That is cool! I think that my dogs would love to ride with me...I may have to look into that (painted red to match of course)!

It's actually a really high quality product. I looked into the other options (papoose-style carrier, soft bag) and decided that this would be the most comfortable for the dog and also the safest in case of any sort of unplanned dismount.

What size is your Parabellum?

Not to hijack the thread, but I am still contemplating aftermarket shields, and Parabellum is on my list ...

hmm, somehow I don't think putting my 75# yellow lab on the rack like that would work out well for any involved.

Looks good though, nice set-up.
