Washing the bike this weekend I noticed the right side panel where the driver and pass foot pegs and the rear brake attaches was loose. Two of the three fasteners were way loose and the last was half I'd say. For future reference, a: is there a master list of the bolts and fasteners on the bike - size and thread? I'd like to be able to replace not just those but say the wind screen fasteners that seemed stripped when I picked up the bike. And b: back to the loose panel, any thoughts on the use of the loctite for these? I have some at hand to do my hard bag install this week anyway.

Thanks everyone.

If you've got a Buell Parts Book for your Uly, check the back. IIRC it lists the details for every fastener on the bike.

I had issues with the allen head screws on my flyscreen as well. Actually it was the threads in the fairing were not cut very well and one screw cross threaded. I ran a tap through each hole and purchased a replacement screw for like $2.95. The quality of the fasteners on these bikes is quite nice, but quite pricey as well.

I also had a front engine brace bolt loose, the only thing that saved it being lost was the retaining clip for the clutch cable. If I recall it was like that upon arriving home on pick up day. A little blue locktite and all's good.

The nice thing about these bikes are the common size fasteners........no odd ball meteric crap(at least from the common stuff I've messed with). Lose a screw/bolt, walk in to your local hardware store and at least you can get home.
