Warranty covers that but you have to keep the dead parts.

Same happened to me with approx 18K miles pulling away from a Stop light. Local dealer charged me for it. I got the broken belt back from them, I wrote a letter and called Buell Customer Service and shipped them the belt for them to take a look at it. 7 Months later and many phone calls to Buell and the dealer, I got the labor and cost of the belt in the form of a credit to my credit card.

So Im guessing theres no crimp on connector belt patch kit?

Duct tape / duck tape / gray cloth tape / 200 mph tape. Do not use teflon tape!
