anybody install a rack on motorcycle for mt. bike adventures?

I first bungee the mt bike to a back pack and then put the back pack on.
pretty easy, just don't try splitting lanes.

I once rode from Stony Brook on Long Island to another school in Connecticut on a 1976 Honda 750f with a Peugeot race bike bungee'd on a backpack frame. Got there, put it together and raced a 60 mile race (didn't win). It wasn't actually too bad except for the blast from semi-trucks on the freeway. I got a lot of funny looks though, and I was really sore after riding back home!
