While I'm sure it is great for ventilation, it cannot be safe to cut a slot in one's helmet to let the mohawk fly free.

"Touring bikes".

Somebody needs to speak with Killboy about his photo categorizations.

"Touring bikes".

I don't know. Why does touring bike have to equal boring? I think the Ulysses is a perfect example of a bike that is at home on the twisty, on the fire break road, or chewy up the miles on the blacktop, all without being boring.

My BMW RT isn't necessarily boring either (more refined for the blacktops), it is however a very different touring bike and while enjoyable in it's own way, not "fun" in the same sense as the Ulysses.

Nah, I like the next one in the series better.

They have luggage therefore they are "touring bikes".

What was funny was that the shots of us loaded down with luggage came after we emerged onto Deal's Gap from about 10 miles of "primitive" dirt path. You can see the mud caked under the fenders.

If Killboy had a Touring/Sport/Dirt/Dual Sport category, there would be few bikes other than the Uly.

I do believe that Mike was a bit humbled by the prowess of his Uly companions.

I caught him trying to move off the bike a little more than usual. : D

Great pics, Guys.

Deals Gap gets a bad rap from people who have never been...it is the most techincal road I have ever ridden, that includes Palomar, Angeles Crest and Ortega Highway.

I have to agree. One day on the Dragon with Barker and Ft_bstrd last November...my ridding skills improved dramatically!

Can I get in here? I beat you guys by a week:

http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/OrderPage.aspx?pi= 04RK00OT050768&po=768}.

This one is from my 40th birthday 3 years ago. Racerboy couldn't shake the old man on the S3T:

I know this the ULY section but anytime I see photos from the Dragon it just brings back so many memories. Awesome place to ride a Buell. Frank.
