Hi, I'm interested in one of these "stow-n-go" bags for my Uly but it looks like its made of a kinda thick material and appears to take up alot of the under seat space with just its walls, bottom and top. Anyone have one and want to comment of its functionality and usefulness? thanks, -James |

James- I bought one on ebay about a year ago and keep it on my Uly. It doesn't waste much space at all. If fits fairly tightly in the free space under the seat and keeps things organized. It holds my owner's manual, factory tool kit, a small voltmeter, an air gauge, and a Byrdwrench multi-tool. It has an outside pocket where I keep my registration and proof of insurance. I like it. |

Here are some pictures of mine before i sold it: http://froggypwns.com/images/ulycrapforsale/StowNg oBag/index.html It is nice and thick. Tough too, it survived a tire going through my tail section. Does it take up space? Sure, but its not like its wasting it. |

I put my intercom in it. It helps to keep the unit from getting beat around, plus helps keep all the wires nice and tidy. Well worth the $20-something dollars it was. Wayne |

+1 on the case. It's form fitted for maximum space utilization. It keeps loose items from rattling around. |

+1 for me! One of the better investments for just over $20. Holds all the tools I need, zip ties and rags plus registration and insurance card. |

At $20 - $25, it's a no brainer accessory. I use it to hold the factory toolkit, owner's manual, some "tech tips" I've printed off from BadWeb, an extra luggage key, air gauge and a couple of those disposable plastic oil bottle extensions. It not only keeps all that from bouncing around loose in the underseat space, but also protects from contact with the battery and shields the contents from the exhaust from the fan. If I were a Buell dealer, I would present it as a "gift" at the time of delivery of the new bike and populate it with the business cards of the salesperson and parts/service/accessories managers. Or, make it the next promo item - "Free - with the test ride of any Uly X/XT" |

The first accessory for my Uly was the Stow-N-Go. It fits well and I began adding stuff. Soon I decided I did not always know what were the most important tools to carry. I opted to get the "Buell tool kit" (94685-03Y) which should cover most issues that come up. This kit fits tightly in some of the space where the Stow-N-Go was living. I have opted to keep the tools in that space.... but storing stuff efficiently on the Uly is very interesting topic. |

I think the more space you have on a bike the more crap you are tempted to haul with you. On my 1984 BMW R65 I have a couple of side bags and filled em. Extended tool kit, Full first aid kit, fire extinguisher, Puncture repair kit, full set of bulbs. spare this, spare that etc etc and never needed any of it to date. I don't have any luggage on the Uly and plan to keep it that way. If it wont fit in my pockets or under the seat, it don't come for the ride. I would hate to spoil the looks of the Uly with bags. |
