Somethings wrong with my new XT! The check engine light isn't staying on anymore! OMG! Oh, wait--cancel panic attack--it's because the interactive exhaust actuator failed again and GHD&B replaced it. They had me back on the road in no time, just like before. Thanks Kevin, Paul, Eric, Todd, Rob and all. Man I love this bike! It's just so damn smooth! |

My '08 had the same problem. The previous owner had it replaced under warranty. I don't know how many miles were on the bike when it failed, but there were only 414 miles on the clock when I bought it. Tipsy |

A SPECIAL RESPONSE team is being assembled this moment. . . . until we can get someone there . . you can assauge the ill effects of having the light out by painting an orange dot on the inside or your visor to simulate a "check engine" light . . |

What does this CEL look like.......... ..........never seen mine. My XT gets better with every mile, the engine really PULLS in the 4-5k range. Can't wait to explore beyond there. Approaching 1k, have my break-in service scheduled for next week, this weekend should put me over the mark. Permagrin in place. |

"What does this CEL look like" Like a yellowish-orange dot on your visor. |
