Has anyone tried to fit Pelicans as side cases to the standard/Fehling racks? If so, then how?

Now that looks the sh**. Far better looking than the standard Buell bubbles, more manly, less faggoty. Hell, I would even have them on my bike! Stirling work sir!

just a little bit of garage time. UlyssesGuy welded flat plates over the stock H&B brackets, then we ran fender bolts through the cases and made them a permanent fixture on the bike. Damn Robo

finished product is in my profile

Dougm,
Do the cases clip on or is there a locking device or a Q.R. screw?

Longdog,

I made the plastic mounts so they snap onto the racks. They have a "C" shaped cutout. They can be removed in about 20 seconds. The snaps on the top of the rack pull straight out, leaving the rear snaps on, they hinge away from the rack and pull the case downward and off it comes. (Hope that makes sense.)

I located the cases so that I could add a locking draw latch to the front where the HB cases lock, but I have not added the latches yet. I did add a tubular cam lock to each so the cases are locked.

Many thanks for this Dougm, yes, it makes perfect sense.
Do you have any drawings of the clips?

Longdog, I don't. I did some hand sketches and had to make some on the go modifications. I can try to get a drawing together for them though.
