Court,
I need some clarification on the costs for the Homecoming event this July and what those costs cover.
1) On the pdf Schedule of events for Thursday, July 3 there is a buffet dinner mentioned at the Brookfield Sheraton and mention of a Pre-registration fee of $50.00. Is that buffet included in the $50 or is that extra?

2) What does that $50 registration fee cover? Not a big deal if it were just me, but my son and wife are also coming so it becomes $150. Last year it cost us $35 per person and that included a Buell T-shirt, a great buffet lunch at the Buell factory, and entrance tickets to the Road America track up at Elkhart, Wisconsin. Are these things included in that $50 fee?

3) Last year the Erik tech seminar was in a small room at the factory and it was packed like sardines and a bit warm. Maybe a different, more accommodating room this year??

4) I suppose I'm just a bit thick but that schedule of events pdf could be more explanatory. Maybe you could have them update it for the thinking impaired. I just don't want to get up there and then start getting nickle and dimed for things that I thought were included in the registration fee. Thanks.

Sleez,
So that buffet dinner at the host motel in Brookfield is $50. A bit steep since I'd have to do it three ways with my son and wife along.

Let me do some looking in to this . . . . frankly, I've not been able in the past to get registered on the Buell website. I think I clogged it up when I once, early on, tried to enter mulitple VINs. They cleared the invalid entry long ago but I've just never gotten around to going through the process. I have a bit of an aversion to registering for stuff like that where they gather personal info.

I do know that much time and effort has gone into the planning.

I'm eager to go and partake in a tradition that John Mikosh and I have shared since the introduction of the RS-1200 .

I'll learn more and share it here.

Court - if you do get registered, find out why my freakin' account still won't come up : )

I know...it's an outside vendor...but I still get bounced back to the login screen every time I enter my UN and PW. Endless loop...

Court,
I do not plan to stay at the host motel in Brookfield. Can you find out if we can bring our confirmation information to the Buell Factory in East Troy instead of the host motel. Last year we brought it to the Factory. I'm sure that not everyone plans on staying in Brookfield and it is certainly out of the way for me to go there.

Rat,
Yeah, that Buell website for owners doesn't seem to be well coded but I'm able to get out of that loop by clicking again on "Owners" and then clicking on "25th Anniversary" located at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise I go in circles also.

I went through that for a year and finally gave up. Anything that's in there eventually gets posted somewhere.

Never did get an answer as to where why BRAG disappeared, and not really feeling the love with the OWNERS section, nor does it feel like an on parr replacement. It keeps looping me out as well. Hell I even had our secretary try my info (thinking it was my user error) NO Joy.
