I'm 57, 5'3" tall, and just got a new XT. Others do adventure touring; I do adventure stopping.

26 when I bought my 06. The uly was the best bike that fit my standards and help coincide with my family's heritage towards Harley Davidson. Just retired from racing motocross and I was looking for a bike that was sportbikeish but felt like a big supermoto and the uly fit perfectly. The Ktm950r still catches my eye though with liquid cooling.

I'm 26 and just got my Uly a while back. I've wanted a Buell since the XBs came out years ago, but I never had enough cash to make it a priority. No time like the present, I decided, and finally bit the bullet and look forward to some good touring this year.

Just passed 20K on the machine and I don't think the honeymoon will end anytime soon. Believe it or don't, it was my first moto purchase. No regrets... well, maybe the first spill!
Trying to devise a way to make it to the 25th Homecoming.

This is the only bike I have owned so far that I can bolt bags to and tour, jump, ravage dirt roads, commute, and run faster than most squids on a track!! Pics coming soon!

Wanted one since they were introduced... but couldn't afford it until recently.... that is what I tell the wife and banker... life is short enough .... pinching pennies along the way is the game we all play... we here (BadWeber's) just smile more than others I figure....

Cheers-

Hmmm...

Looks like an opportunity for another Form driven spreadsheet : )

Would you all like me to make one to record the stats you're all placing here? It would be interesting to see what the average Uly rider looks like, stat wise.

I'll put it together and post back here.

08Uly
45, 6'3", 270, 34"
