Summertime, I welcome thee, for I will be ready to quench thy thirst!

For those who don't have one yet, get to your dealer and pick one up! It is truly bad-ass!!!

I would call first. The factory promos often leave dealers holding only a few promos for the large number of enthusiasts they serve. With some dealers dropping the Buell line, more riders per dealer yet no increase in promo items makes for a frustrating situation.

Mine doesn't work very well, to be honest. The beer ends up warm and foamy from all the sloshing around.

Just use straight Crown Royal, no problems for me other than being sticky!!

I thought if you drank *while* you drove, you weren't drunk until you reached your destination?

JOKING!!!!

Drinking and driving is just plain wrong - but drinking and riding, well, that's just plain fun!

When I was in the Marine Corps, our Friday formation would go something like this:

1st Sgt: "If you drink"
Formation: "Don't Drive!"
1st Sgt: "If you Drive"
Formation: "Don't Drink!"
1st Sgt: "If you Drink and Drive"
Formation: "Don't Spill it"

Of course when our commander was around we always had to leave out the last one. ;)

I am going to have to try Ray Price on Saturday to see if I can get a Buell Hydration Pack. I have 5 Camelbaks, but could always use a Buell pak

I went and got mine, this afternoon. Nicely made, has other little pockets and places to put other stuff. The hose has nice retainers on the strap, either side, and a clip to hook it under. The "suck on it" fitting at the end of the hose seems a little difficult to open and close, but it will probably break in, and you wouldn't want it too easy, you'd end up with it open and spill all your cocktail. The opening, for filling and such, is about 3 inches across. I can get my hand inside to clean it!

No report on how it works, but my conclusion is that it's Waaaay worth the price you pay!

I got mine today. Went and rode an 1125r. Wow what a different bike. I didn't get the same smiley face that I get from Uly. I know I made the right choice.

I have clean out the hydration pack. I'll probably be using it soon it was almost 80 here today.

Ok, I don't mean to brag but....

...my dealer was going to actually CHARGE me $12,995 for the hydration pack. But using my Chuck Norris negotiating skills, I got him to throw in a free XT.

He never saw it coming.

Wicked fast, but no smiley. +1Msparks.

Wbrisett,
This is the D&D speech that I used to give to my platoon before a weekend.

Don't drink & drive. If you drink & drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. Spilling your drink would be considered alcohol abuse, and alcohol abuse will not be tolerated.

Like you, neither the commander nor the 1SG ever liked to hear that one. They stopped having me give the safety briefs.

I took my bike in for a leaky fork seal, and the sales manager gave it to me when I told him I was interested in a demo ride on the 1125R.

Turns out I have a lot more than a leaky fork seal. Add to that, a leaky clutch cable, a leaky stator, and a leaky neutral switch. All warranty work, thank God!

Who say Buells leak?

I went in but they won't do a demo ride on Saturday because of how busy they are. I have to go back monday morning. I was hoping they would just pencil whip as I have a Uly 10 months old.

Got mine! Appears mine doesnt have the slit cut in the end of it though to drink from : (. Will have to manually cut a slit I guess. I was going to testride an XT, but they were so busy, I couldnt get the ride in. Since I bought my bike from them though, they just tossed me the pack and told me to come back sometime in the week to try out XT : )

Random; you don't need to cut anything. Take the inner liner out and attach the hose and it goes out through the zippered slit.

There is a possibility you need to cut a tiny slit in the mouthpiece, or get it started. I've had Camelbaks that were like that.

Got mine today. I like the liner. I was thinking of keeping the liner in my tank bag - if I can use it that way.

I prefer to leave my back free when I can to maximize air flow and cooling.

It is a pretty cool promo. I wanted to ride an XT but they won't have one for 2 more weeks.

Yea, the slit on the mouthpiece wasnt all the way through on mine. After a little fiddling, it broke open. Still need to try it out and see how well it works : ).

I got mine today. 1125R demo. Maybe a scaled down rotax in a future ULY. 1125 motor way too much. Tires would need to be changed daily with that motor.

There is this control on the right side of the handlebars that lets you control that....
