I read the thread on mounting a Pelican on the triple tail and thought it was pretty interesting. I want something a little sleeker than a Pelican. I was looking at the Givi E30http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/6 07/505/ Has anyone thought about or actually mounted a Givi on the triple tail? | ||

Not exactly what your asking for.. but I mounted a Givi E33 using the rear luggage carrier for Givi from twisted throttle. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/3 745/474/ The rack appears well made.. install was easy and so for (had it for 2 months) no issues. The triple tail is still fully functional, just have to remove the box to get it to lay all the way back. | ||

Thanks Gamdh. I have the buell side bags without the top case. I really like the clean lines of the bike without them. I don't think the twisted throttle top rack will work with my side cases. May be time to sell them. | ||

I think your correct about the side cases... I think this rear rack only works with the Give side rack from Twisted Throttle. I only have the rear rack with no side cases, so not an issue for me. When I need lots of storage for longer trips, I have the Bags-Connection Speedpack-Wide motorcycle luggage system which provides lots of storage. |
