hey guys just picked up a left over '07 uly from valley h-d in ohio and i was wondering what your recomendation is for a fuel managment system?? dobeck? race ecm?ecm spy?....bike is stock now but pipe and breather are coming.the bike pings and just runs too lean for me.. | ||

The Uly/Sportster engine is noisy but maybe it was not pinging .... The fuel management issue ECM Spy and cable (ECM Spy is a free download and cable 20-40$) so use your stock ECM and tune it as see fit. I have the 07 map in my 06 with open air box and I don't think it is lean. Reset your TPS, and check your timing then make up your mind. Chas | ||

the timing was checked,it was a degree off.that got rid of the slight hesitation i had but then pinging got slightly worse.my plugs are snow white,just like any stock efi harley which is too lean for me.where is the best place to buy the cable??? | ||

my plugs are snow white,just like any stock efi harley which is too lean for me I found a note somewhere, that the latest EEPROM for a 07 Uly would cure that and some of the pinging. I don't know how to identify the last version, but maybe the VIN is a hint. Regards, Gunter |
