Ordered the kit on Friday (I think)Got the kit on Wed. Installed Thurs after work. Took about an hour to do. Very nice looking brackets. They add to the "Industrial Look" that I am particularly fond of on the ULY after the "Made by Tupperware" look of my 01 Goldwing. I am anxious to try out my new addition tonight and make the appropriate adjustments. Also I think I will get them anodized black.I have the larger shield for my Uly but I cut the flip-up lip off so I will be interested to see how the system works compared to others. Strada thanks for what appears to be a fine product and very fast response time.

Hi, Pso,
thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I still haven't found a cost effective way to get the brackets plated / coated. They can be primed and painted though but it would work out very time consuming for me offer it plus it can be painted to your particular taste.
please let me know how you get on (& pictures please!).
Cheers
Iain

Strada-There is a place not to far from me that does anadizing and after I figure out the exact setting for the brackets, I will be taking them off and seeing what they can do. I was also thinking I would like a nice flat black crinkle. I was in no way suggesting that it was an expectation on my part that you offer diffferent finishes. Seems like each of us wants something a little different. On the other hand, I might just keep them silver to look "Industrial".

Just installed Iain's brackets on my Red XT (the fastest color of course) and am very happy so far. They look great and I can already feel a noticeable difference (still haven't tinkered around with the settings). Iain by the way is a great guy to deal with; very professional and helpful.

Very nice pictures - thanks for sharing; I've not made my decision yet as I'm considering ordering a taller screen with it. Any experience from anyone on using this with the stock shied? If so, does it make a noticeable improvement? I liked the looks of it with the stocker but not sure if there’s a real benefit w/o ordering a taller shield thru Buell or ZG.

Thanks,

Nick

Excellent pictures, thanks.
I have my brackets set on the highest, most forward position. Set back a notch or 2 helps with high speed riding sitting in a slightly 'prone' positions (tucked in closer to the tank).
I would definately suggest getting the taller screen but certainly worth trying the shorter one first to see how that arrangement works for you.

Used it with the stock screen. Removes most of the pressure off my shoulders. Does increase the noise a little.
I am 6'2".

Using the lowest position and all the way in.
I like this better than with the Tall Buell screen. Probably going to cut the lip off the tall screen and try it again.

small changes in the angle and height of the brackets make big differences.
