I will be taking ownership of a black '07 holdover on Tuesday. Just over $9k out the door with the free top and side cases! After my test ride (see other thread) I just couldn't stop thinking about how cool it was. Can't wait! |

Congratulations Driven - these are great bikes. I saw your previous thread where you were asking about the power - I have a Kawa ZX12R sharing the garage with my '06 Uly and in the the two and a half years I 've had the Uly I've covered 53,000km on the Uly and about 4,000km on the Kawa. As has been mentioned by lots of others, it is the power delivery with this package that makes it so addictive. This is my first Buell after a long line of IL4's and I absolutely love it. The Uly has been described as the 'Swiss Army Pocket Knife' of motorcycling and that is pretty accurate. One-up, two-up, touring, secondary roads and occasional gravel roads are where I use it and I still look forward to every ride. One piece of advice - between now and Tuesday make sure you get all those little chores around the house and any yard work out of the way because after Tuesday they will become very low priority tasks! |

Congratulations, Driven. You will love your new bike. Its good to see a "Down-eastah" on a Uly! I'm in Hampden so I'm not quite Downeast, but that will be a frequent destination when the wifey is on board! Are you in Maine? |

That's a damn good price for a damn good motorcycle. I hope you enjoy your Uly as much as I enjoy mine. Maine's got lots of neat roads. |

My father was born and raised in Raymond, near Sebago lake. Uly country, for sure. |

There are so many reasons to be excited about this machine, but I just can't wait for my wife to really see why I love riding motorcycles - from a comfy perspective for a change! She's never had that and as a result hasn't wanted to ride with me much. Even when she did agree it was only a very short trip as it was torturous for both of us riding 2-up on the R6S. With the cases we can actually do all day trips. Plenty of great destinations from here! |

congratulations, and I welcome to the Uly sickness: it becomes harder and harder the swing your leg over and get off the Ulysses. You'll see! Great price, makes me kinda jealous lol. Enjoy! |

motorcycles are a sort of insanity, Uly's are one of the most virulent strains. However, while lots of people suffer from insanity, we get to enjoy every minute of it! |
