Going to Copper Canyon in may(veevah mayheecoe) and have a few concerns about the fuel I will be undoubtedly buying out of barrels down there. I was considering buying those small additive packets they sell at the HD store and carrying a few for when octane is in doubt. A buddy with a Uly uses them on occasion and says they are fine. Anyone have a different solution or experience with this? THX

The octane boosters are not worth it IMHO, but the DurAlt upper chamber cleaner is. Its in a small bottle with metered side pouring top at most Harley dealers. It prevents carbon deposits which are hot spots that cause pre-detonation.

Here's a link for toluene, used as octane booster.
