Well I've had my Uly 2 weeks so of course it's time start screwing with everything! I did this same directional mod to my ZREX. It's quick, easy and best of all free. I haven't seen any threads about this so I'm not sure if someone's already done this before or not. Basically you just move the shaft extender to the inside of the mounting point. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Finished product. Much tighter look!

That's a pretty good idea, moving the stand offs to the inside to take up the slack.

Another BadWebber (don't remember who) awhile back shortened his for the same effect.

What I did was buy two rear signals, they fit in reverse up front, cost me $12 each w/ bulbs (ridiculously low price IMO). Looks better like yours I think and it's a plug-in also. Also one less thing to damage in a tipover I would think.

I did the same thing, but I simply moved the nut and washer to the inside threads of the shaft. I didn't like the extended look either.

I moved mine to the handlebar gaurds due to my girlfriend not being able to see my indicator flashing because of the headlight glare (on an un-lit motorway, she was riding ahead of me and needed to see my indicator to know which exit to take).

I figured they'd be more visable further away from the headlight and they won't break when I drop it.
