We've always used, with great success, those zippered gym bags that you can buy at any sports store. Just bungee them on and they've always held up fine for us. My wife and boy bungee the sport bags to their bikes though. Works great and cheap. | ||

Badcat, thats a great question, I have been looking all over for the best bags and I have it boiled down to the MOTOPAK system or the Nelson Rigg Silverstreak. You can google either or look on Ebay. They have side cases with a tailpak that all clips together and the lines even look pleasing to the eye. Either system can be had for around $150. Let me know what you end up with and please post some pics... | ||

If you weren't riding 2-up I would recommend a Wolfman duffel...they carry as much or more stuff than 2 hard bags, come off in 3 seconds to leave a lighter bike and if ya go down in some ill-advised dirt (again), a duffel won't break your ankle. ( Blueridge Mtn Sports also has watertight duffels, similar to dive bags) |
