Does anyone know if the T's front fender will bolt up onto on 06 front end? Part number for it? Thanks, AR |

It looks like the exact same front fender from my 06 Lightning Long, even down to the color of Sunburst Orange. I haven't seen the XT in person so I don't know for sure if the colors match. Should just bolt right on no problem, don't know if it uses the same size bolts or not. |

You also need an "L" bracket from the Lightning that connects the lower triple clamp to the bottom of the headlight assembly, and I think a wire form to support the lower portion of the break line. |

Yes it is the same. I have one on my 06 Uly. It came off a Lightning. Bolts right on. |

It has to fit, I stole the front end fender set off a Uly to replace my stocker ;) (bucking the trend of going the other way) |

Fender: M1662.02A8MW Wireform front brake bracket: H0418.02A8A Headlight bracket: M0619.1AD Bolts for headlight bracket (2) AA0404.11CVB Just a reminder that the headlight bracket takes a little creativity to make it work. |

Thanks. I guess I just realized that I should have posted this in knowledge base. There's just more action here. |

If I do the fender conversion I was planning to add some fork skins to protect the exposed fork tube. I have used them on my dirt bike for a couple of year and have not had any problems http://www.pcracingusa.com/forkskins.php

Looks like the coverage is a lot less in the rear. Looks like a lot more road spray would be shooting at the engine. |

Replace the grey chin spoiler piece with a black one and the road scum becomes less visible. Plus it looks better too. |
