Roc,

We had our maint. fabricators weld together something similar to an old rifle rack for pick-up truck back windows. If we needed to transport our weapons a distance they rode in Blackhawk gun bags. Probably not D.O.T. approved, but hey, they got us where we needed to go! We also rigged mounts using M240/M249 T&E mounts too. Just depends on what you are wanting to mount. A welder and an imagination go a long way.
