Since all of the dealers around me are 98% HD and 2% Buell I cannot get a straight answer....I am wondering if the 2007 fork springs will swap directly into my 2006 Uly. I would like the progressive springs that came in 2007. Thanks in advance |

Yes, they are a direct swap. There are quite a few folks on this site that have done it and report good results. I'll probably do the mod next time I service my forks as well. |

I have them. I believe they are like $53 for a set. I like them much better than the 06 stockers. They still soak up the first bit of travel during braking, but the dive stops when it hits the "stiffer" portion of the winding. I recommend them. Call Appleton HD in the sponsor's section and order a set. |

Order the 2008 Triple clamps, and sans the fork lock function, you too can turn your Uly around in your drive way and get that better ride with the new springs you are buying. Stock fork legs fit them and 1/2" long wheel base should not be a problem. If you are not long in the arm, a set of handle bar risers will put you back to your original riding position. I've ordered mine, several people elsewhere in BWB have done this swap and enjoy it immensly. |

Thanks for the great info. I even found out about something I didn't know about, the triple clamp swap. If I understand that right doing the clamp swap will increase my wheel base by 1/2"...is that right? |
