Merry Christmas to all my Buell family!

4" of snow today in Denver, I guess in stead of going for a Christmas ride...I'll spend time thinking about my next mod!

Merry to you too.

I got Ron Ayres book about the Iron Butt rally 'Against the wind',it's a good read-I'm already over half way through.
I could never ride that far although I reckon the Uly would be good for it.

Me and a friend rode up to Carter lake on Christmas eve. Man it would be nice to have heated gear.We got 7" of snow in my hood in Broomfield yesterday so it was nice to get that last ride in for the year since were going to get another 3-6 tonight.

Funny, how come I didn't get a Buell Christmas card from my dealer? They sent me a H-D Christmas card that was "signed" by the dealer's owner (Battley Cycles/Rockville H-D in Gaithersburg, MD) that urged me to get my '07 Harley FXDB Street Bob some presents, and "dream about warm weather". I decided to bundle up and go out on the Uly instead. They sent me a H-D card on my birthday of all things, too, hoping I had taken the opportunity to go out for a ride. It's just interesting the difference in marketing budgets and gimmicks that the H-D dealer uses. Heck, I bought my '06 Uly and my H-D from the same guy at the same place. Don't get me wrong, I love my Harley - it's great to tool around on a big black piece of metal, but I need to have the other side of the yin-yang with the Uly. It's great to have both for when your mood (or needs) changes.

Oh well, a friend of mine got me a great Buell keychain for Christmas, which is better than a card.

Happy new year, Ulyssesians.
