I usually don't post much but had so much fun I wanted to share. Yesterday I went out for a rip on the 07 uly and HOLY SH*T! it felt like someone spiked er up with nitrous! it was about 48 out and sunny here in Norcal so time to ride. I warmed up uly the usual 3 minutes or so hopped on and took off.

Upon leaving the second stop sign, my usual wheelie spot I took off then I wacked the throttle and up comes the wheel only this time the bike damn neer loops on me so instead of my usual smooth "cool" descent I touch the rear brake and down she comes so as my sphincter gets back into position I'm thinking pay attention stupid you almost looped it!

As I make my way out to the twisties I notice uly is feeling exceptionally spry today even for cooler temps, so I'm really looking forward to some fun and boy was it. I was wheeling out of corners in second gear flicking it from side to side through the corners around Lake Berryessa and the back roads to and from, I swear this bike felt like never before, I even yanked on the bars in third a couple of times and rode on the back tire for what seemed to be a hundred yards! what a blast or should I say what a uly!

This bike is basically stock except for a K&N and synthetic oil. If the weather ever gets bad enough here in Vacaville I'm going to send my pipe off to Kevin Drum and get that done but that will be about it. All you guys out there ripping on Buells and riding around on your $18,000 BMW's and Ducati MST's more power to you but this bike IMHO is the sweetest thing on two wheels! GRIN,SMILE,GRIN,SMILE,GRIN!

Sometimes the rear brake is more important than the front!

Cool dry air can make a lean machine come to life!!

I had all my carbed bikes out 2 days ago, and they loved the cold air. I had the Uly out today and it ran like a raped ape.
