Guys can some one do me a favour, post some pics of the Buell Nav system, but with the main unit removed,I have searched everywhere for a view of the cradle and mount unit,as I have asked my dealer here in Australia if he can price it for me,or even better if some one has part numbers as well for the mounting system.
Cheers Phil

thanks Daveymac,I have been in the Touratech website but shit they are farkin dear,I would end up looking around maybe 170aud for the cheap one i suppose, and I only paid 300aud for the quest 2nd hand, may take the RAM mount option first then save the dollars for awhile for the touratech model.
tahnks heaps anyway, and if anybody does have a pic of the Buell system please post em up for me.
Cheers Phil

You can have it up and mounted with the ram mount (which works great) for $10USD and some fabrication (I mounted it to the base of the mirror stalk). For $30USD, you can have the full RAM mount setup (which is even nicer).

You will need to then get power to it (if you want, it'll go 10 hours on battery). You can cut up the AC adapter for that, and do a little wiring (it needs 5v regulated power).

Ebay typically has the Garmin motorcycle mounting kits for $70 USD as well... not sure how hard it would be to get one to AU.

The RAM mounts are effective & they also isolate vibrations. I've used them as GPS & radar detector mounts for years. If you still want pictures of the Buell mount, let me know & I'll see if I can PM them to you (file is too big to attach here).
