December West Coast edition of the Thunder Press, available at many dealerships free of charge, has some great write ups on Ulysses adventures. One transpires in California up to the Lost Sierra to Gold Lake on page 85 The other here in Colorado, from Durango to Graysill Mine. This one is more the adventure ride, the author even took a spill. Page 136 While you are at it, puruse the fifth in a series in Motorhead Memo column on v-twin horsepower & torque. Modifications that work, the EPA mandated lean run condition causing heat in the early 96-in motors, and the physics of acceleration. The latter is the subject matter of the Dec issue, page 122. |
