Does the exhaust from an 07 (05/06) fit onto an 08 model? I want to buy an old exhaust to get modified, hence the question. Heard that the Uly headers on 08's are smaller, but don't know if this effects anything to do with the exhaust fitting. Cheers! |

The part number for the header for '06,'07,&'08 is the same- S0101.1AAA so it has not changed. The part number for the '08 muffler has changed from S0110.1AK to S0110.1AS- it is a supersede and the old number is now obsolete. This would indicate that the '08 muffler will fit all Ulysses models. It's also $454.00 so you might want to look on ebay or see if there is a badwebber who has a take off. If you're not in the US, let me know and I'l check international part numbers. |

His profile says UK, so i would assume he is over seas As for the new muffler, perhaps they fixed the rusting issue we have been bitching about for years? lol. |

As for the new muffler, perhaps they fixed the rusting issue we have been bitching about for years? lol.} My dealer fixed this for me after I mentioned it to him one day. At my suggestion they are swapping the standard muffler for a nice chrome Remus (street legal but with removable baffles) with me paying the difference between the two. No point changing for another stock one to rust so he agreed to do this under warranty. |

Cheers Guys, Yep, I'm in London, UK. There has been a rumour here that the new exhaust is due to meeting new Euro emissions (Euro 3), and so has a catalytic convertor in it? Have not seen any proof of this though. So looks like the old one will fit, which makes it easier to get one to be modified |

Let's see if I can make sense here- since you're from the UK, I checked the part numbers again. In '06/'07 the headers for domestic and international had the same number- S0101.1AAA. In '08 the domestic header number remained the same while the international number changed to S0101.5AA. As for the mufflers, in '06/'07 the domestic number was S0110.1AK and the international number was S0144.3AA. For '08 the domestic has superseded to S0110.1AS and the international has superseded to S0144.1AS. The domestic muffler costs $454.00 and the international costs $585.00, both costs unchanged from previous years. A different number usually means a significantly different part/application. A superseded number usually means an improvement that will fit existing models, but can also mean an application change within a given model platform. The wild card here is the different part number for the header, so I would probably ask your dealer to contract Buell Technical Services and verify fitment before spending the dollars, or pounds in this case. Hope this helps. |

Thanks for that Murraebueller - helps a LOT! I asked the dealer, and like you found, yes, the headers are different. They'll chase it up with the tech services to query if things fit. Cheers! |

On the 08 uk bike the headers and the muffler are different to 07 and before. The headers are a different shape and have a lesser diameter. The muffler now has a cat fitted. ( all to meet euro laws ).If you want to fit an an 07 zorst you would have to change the headers. I am currently buying 45 mill headers with a reverso zorst. i just hope they will fit the uk 08 bike http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/84.html http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/78.html |

Looks like they do Iddur - just had the same conformation from UK BEG. Great news, as all of Trojan's pre-08 headers and exhaust options will fit Think that I'll save up for the Aero 45 headers too. |
