So I recently got a 06' left-over from a Chicago dealer. After 300 miles I have discovered a couple things that should have been set-up better prior to delivery. Clutch was to tight on cable and screw. The ECM had the old 06' map and not 07'. The primary chain was a tad to tight. Because of the clutch it was hard time finding neutral and because of the fuel map the engine had a mild ping. Thanks to the BWB forums I have fixed all the problems that HD dealers should got right 1st. Chas |

Also, check your headlight. They are aimed way low from the factory. |

The ECM should only have the '07 map if it has the '07 airbox. Does it? Ping seems to be directly related to timing which has been found to be improperly set on many bikes too. +1 on the headlight. (Message edited by jmhinkle on November 04, 2007) |
