I have never had much confidence in the Uly side stand. It just seemed to lack the positive up or down placement that I have with other biles. From what I understand they used to have a bolt and now they have a pin. It's back to the bolt for me. I ran across some strong 1" x .5" shoulder bolts here at work that fit better than the factory pin. It looses the pin tip that makes the side stand dangle. Now it is a solid up or down, no more dangle. I will take it apart and inspect in a few weeks to see how the bolt is holding up.
