Hello all, I had a buell xb12scg in cherry red trans, Mancuso HD gave me 8000.00 for my trade in, it was an 07 with 6000 miles on it. I got an 07 ULY new with the camo body parts for 11,000.00 out the door! I also got them to pay for first service!! My scg was paid in full. My wife and I are enjoying the Uly very much, Im doing the 1000 mile break in on Tue, Ive had it about a month. No problems so far!! | ||

I got mine for 10400 out the door, '06 that was at the dealership for almost a year. It had full bags on it. I worked at the dealership so I knew what they could sell it for so I had the upper hand. They gave me 8k for a sportster I bought 2 months earlier that I bought for 9k. But I let them ream me on that deal. You look like you got a good deal, but it depends on the deal you got on your scg if you bought it there. If they reamed you the first time they don't mind cutting you a break on a bike they want to move. But I can't really think straight now I'm listening to foreigner. I got a decent deal on my ULY. I got reamed back in 96' when I bought my 97 Electraglide Classic but I loved that bike anyway. I got a great deal for my wife on an 07' XL1200R Sportster from that same dealer. I told him that he owed me a great deal since he had been earning interest on that $2000 I overpaid back in 96'. He agreed. Regardless, you can't take money to the grave and I'll bet dollars to donuts that you'd love that ULY good deal or good reaming. Where you'll really get stuck in the ass on a regular basis is if you go in for all these unnecessary 1000, 5000, and 10,000 mile service reamings. The dealer will make up for any good deal he made by jamming you up to your liver during these over-priced oil changes. Get the service manual and do your own service. | ||

Just a quick note, I paid 10,400.00 out the door for my scg, I thought 8000.00 on a trade was not to bad!! |
