I ordered my service manual, but it is not in yet.

I need to know how to remove the headlamp bulbs to install my new ones.

Thanks for any help,

Mark

Rubber covers on back pull off, unplug the connector, push the two ends of the retaining clip down and out, swivel the clip away from the bulb, remove bulb.

It's sort of a tight fit and needlenose pliers can help. If larger aux lamps are fitted in the area removing the front screen might make it easier.

DON'T touch the new bulb's glass with your fingers! Oils from skin can burn a hot spot onto the glass and result in early failure!

Thanks, I wanted to make sure if the assembly had to be removed or not.

With my hands, I found it best to remove the front screen. That gave me the room I needed to get it done, without worrying about it.

Not sure how removing the screen helps, but I found it much easier to loosen the bottom mounting screw and swivel the lights up. Mine needed alignment so I was going to loosen it after changing the bulbs anyways.

That's front screen as in painted piece (black, orange, or blue !), not the windshield !

I managed it without removing anything (slim/long fingers),not that I'm showing off or anything, just to say it's pretty easy.

I had to loosen the bottom mounting screw and pivot assembly up....lights were aimed to low anyway so it was a chance to re-aim

I was able to do it as XBIMMER posted.

Thanks again,

Now has anyone added that little 3rd light that has the empty socket from the factory? Is it done the same way?

I was able to remove the 3rd light socket in the same manner.
