Just got back from Liberty. Test rode the Uly...it sells itself. It's a good thing too, because while I realize tomorrow is the official big shindig, there wasn't a single representative outside who could answer any of my questions.

In fact, there was a table full of 2007 Buell brochures. When I asked why there were no '08 brochures to accompany the '08 test bikes, I was told, "well, probably because the only change to the '08 Uly is the heated grips." Hmmmm.

Also, when I asked if there had been any corporate acknowledgment regarding the rear wheel bearing and cooling fan issues, I was asked "what do you mean?"

The test ride route was pretty meager...but like I said, the bike sells itself, so I'm glad I went.

The cooling fan seemed to run for quite some time after shutting the bike down, but I don't have any basis of comparison vs. earlier model years.

There was also some off idle stumble. The bike was warm when I rode it...it had just come back from another test ride. It only happened for the first quarter mile and then cleared up.
