Okay good people of the Fatherland of our great bikes,can you guys tell me if you can purchase the mounting kit/hardware for the Buell/Quest GPS units,if so a part number would be bloody fantastic,and a price even better,and if you want to all surpass yourselves,a dealer who will do one over the internet. Have had my Ram on the Uly since the day I bought it. The only way to fly as far as I am concerned. Best part being that you only need to change the GPS cradle when switching units. But I will probably be using my Meridian color for years to come. | ||

Another option is the Garmin brand mount/cable: http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Integrated-Motorcycle -Cable-010-10610-00/dp/tech-data/B00076QA7E/ref=de _a_smtd/102-1546699-1550547 I'm sure there are other sources. I'm using their mount for my 2610. For both options, you may need to buy the RAM handlebar mount. However, I cobbled up the handlebar mount using a steel light switch cover and a clamp. | ||

The Garmin powered motorcycle mount is a nice set-up. I've been using it for years on several different bikes. It is just the cradle and power cable though, you'll still need something to actually mount the unit to the bike. I prefer RAM mounts as they're extremely versatile and I've yet to have one loosen or move on the bike. | ||

I agree Wingspan that the RAM mounts are very versatile. I use one on my other bike. Just offering a low-cost, approx. $3-5, solution, compared to the RAM solution, approx. $40. I'll post a picture of the low-cost one as soon as my camera battery charges. |
