Anyone else from the Detroit area of Michigan? I'm in Madison Heights and rarely see any Buell's, let alone another Uly on the road. Also, does anyone know of a good tuner shop around here?

I have a Uly and I live in Clinton Township. It's only been there 1 night since July 5th, though. I took it to Kansas City for work and got back just in time to start my vacation a couple weeks ago. I'm in Denver at the moment. Check out the detroit hooligans in the storm fronts. There are pretty regular rides that I rarely make it to.
I don't know about tuner shops, but I've been happy with Detroit HD on Van Dyke for regular service. They're slow, but they've done good work so far

Lansing/Ypsilanti here.

'06 Uly

I've also not seen many other Uly's but I do see plenty of buells, (4 of my friends have them, 01 cyclone, 03XB9R, 03XB9S, 04XB12S which is also my old bike!)

Harbor Springs, MI here. 06 Black. Detroit H-D are great to work with. May not be a tuner shop but good all the same.

Ft_bstrd where in TN are you from? My parents just bought a house in Bath Springs TN (Boonies) from MI and I go down there quite a bit with the motorcycle.

Cudos to TN for having an awesome river that stays warm most of the year, doesn't flow hard, and is big with sandy beaches. Love going out on the TN river on the pontoon with a cooler full of beer for the day!

Mattwhite - Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll see around town sometime. I actually grew up in Macomb Township so I know your area well.

T113,

There are some good roads around Bath Springs.

How far east have you gotten? I live in Franklin.

If you haven't gotten into east Tennessee, you haven't really seen what TN has to offer.

Let me know the next time you are in. We'll round up the Buell lunatics.

I've ridden from sardis (by bath springs) to Deals gap on backroads then back across the state on 40. VERY nice roads all the way across. Especially compared to MI.

I visit my parents in Woodhaven lots of weekends when I'm home, but my usual gear is dragin' jeans and armored jacket with a full face helmet.
