Damn, I'm loving the blue more and more. I might have to switch from Carbon Fiber. : (

STOP . . . . STOP . . . I'm growing weak and I am also liking that Blue the more I see it.

Where is the switch for the heated grips?

Uh. .. just in case I'd ever need to know.

I'll stay with black. All those other colors date your bike. With black you never know how old the bike is. Timeless.

Court, The switch can be seen in the pix just below the kill switch. They get so hot you can smell them, even on low. I rode in mid 50's Sat night and I had to cycle them on and off. They would get so hot on low it hurt the fingers throw leather groves.

I still like my Polly grips. No dangly wires or anything. Simple install, switch on dash and they get very hot on hi but once warmed just switch to lo and they work great. If I got an 08 I would prefer to put pollygrips in than go with the factor set. Just my .02 cents.

I can't see them because I am covering my eyes with my checkbook . . . if I can't see it, it can't harm me.

Court, your gonna be riding a Uly soon, i don't care if i have sign up for the demo at Liberty and then have you take my place. Or better yet, your truck might somehow mysteriously get a flat and you will need to borrow my bike to get back to NY : )

Come on, Court; you've been around Buells long enough to know that Resistance is Futile. You're hooked.
That blue does look good, but the Barricade Orange can really draw you in.
Don't you feel a mysterious urge to see Prudhoe Bay? With warm hands, I might add.

I really want that blue Uly.
I might sell my Ss to buy one.
The Uly grabbed me when it was first released but I lay awake thinking of that blue.

The Blue Uly is even sweeter in person.
Dare I say gorgeous? Stunning at the least.

Court, remind me to remind you sometime to tell us about that time you bought an 08 Ulysses.

I noticed the switch for the headlights, you lucky sods get to choose if the lights are on or off eh?

Is this option only provided in the USA?

In Europe (and probably most other places) the lights are 'hardwired' (I blame Volvo for starting it) giving no choice.

There are safety issues connected with using lights during the daytime (makes it hard to gauge speed of oncoming m/cycle).

Does anyone know how easy or hard it would be to retrofit the switch to have the option of choice?
Any wiring changes needed?
Would one have to change the whole assembly?

Any response on this would be greatly apprieciated.
Thanks in advance,
Hoon.

Hoon; that switch is to turn the heated grips on; not the lights. Our headlights are hard wired on, as well.
