Does anybody make and sell good riser's for the Uly? I would like to raise the handlebar about an inch and set it back an inch. It's a comfort issue.

Check with Al at American Sport Bike.

Perfect match for the Uly and I did not need to replace my cables.

I use the Precision Engineering risers:

http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 5&cat=0&bestseller

They don't rotate the bars rearward, but they do raise them about an inch. Very low cost option and the quality is very good!

I just bought another top clamp and will use it once I file it flat. I will only get about a half inch of rise though.

Get another set if you're going to file them down. I am using two sets but didn't file either set.

I bought the Precision Engineering risers for my bike. The first set I bought was for the 1 1/8 bars and used fat bars, but the angle was to far forward for my short arms, so another purchase of the 7/8" risers and a set of bars from AL and things are good. I also bought and installed the Bar Snake liquid to reduce vibs.

Between the Rox and the Precision Engineering do you have to adjust the cables or buy new ones or can you continue to use the stock cables?

I think you should be fine with the PE risers. They only change the height 1".

Gotj I just needed a little rise and am hoping to bring the bars back just a touch.

Bertotti, Sorry that I misread your post. I inferred you were looking for more than the 1/2" rise. I'm not sure how the top clamps will help bring the bars back though. Are you just going to rotate them?

Yep about a half inch. I'm short so that should take care of it. I find myself sliding way back on the seat and actually wish i could slide back another inch or so. I even rode on the pillion for a couple hundred miles one day. I figured i would go this route for the risers to see how much I like the change and the price was just under twenty buck if I want more I'll buy a second piece. Heck you were the one who turned me onto this in another thread, thanks great idea.
