I was wearing a T-shirt today and noticed that the heat from the Uly was following the wind up my back. Not real hot and actually it would be nice in the colder months. I was surprised though as I thought the air coming out would not make it around the seat to go up my pine. Just posting an observation, somehow it seems significant but I can't quite put my finger on what my mind is trying to tell me. |

.....but I can't quite put my finger on what my mind is trying to tell me. That you need to wear more than a T-shirt ? |

That you need to wear more than a T-shirt ? That was my first though! Bertotti - you'll find that this is a ATGATT group of people. |

Bertotti just experienced CFD, but without the C. If not for safety's sake, I think that Bertotti will put on a jacket in the future because of all of the big, burly SoDak men whistling at his tailbone-tat, while his Tshirt was fluttering in the breeze! Pics, we need pics! Sorry, Bertotti! I hate to be using you as cannon fodder, but I just want to see what types of pics our fellow BadWebbers will post! I always wear a helmet and jeans and boots. I do not always wear a jacket around town especially on a 95 degree 90 percent humidity day. I would of had a half bucket on if I had my glasses back. I also always tuck the shirt in so my sexy love handles don't get all the women up here worked up. I have no idea what ATGATT stands for but if it means I'm to darn sexy for my bike it's probably true, at least in my world. I do live in a happy world. |

ATGATT is: All The Gear All The Time Sweat wipes off, skin doesn't wipe on. |

skin does heal. Hopefully without grafting. I allow myself a little freedom on the jacket too but always wear the basics like bertotti. Sorry if that bothers some of you, I've been down before about ten years ago and learned 1st hand that it sucks but..... My last road rash was from a 20mph fall on my long skateboard while letting my dog run. I AM NOT putting on ATTGATT to go skateboarding. I am not into bungie jumping, sky diving or mountain climbing so I'll take my calculated risk when I want to. Kind of like the day I went on this guys airboat that does 110mph- we hit 95 that day, the water level in the glades was real low so we had to hold back. I guess I can post this now, wasn't going to and haven't put it on ADV due to not wanting to be jumped on.
Had to make it so small that it is hard to see that the bike and I went down in the grey marl "mud." (Message edited by miamiuly on August 19, 2007) (Message edited by miamiuly on August 19, 2007) |

I got one of these, and it's been comfortable even in 100+ degree weather: http://www.newenough.com/browse/view_product_image s/231 With the zip out panel removed, you get plenty of air around your torso while still getting leather and armor in important places. I also have a pair of Joe Rocket Phoenix mesh overpants that are really comfortable even in high heat. One of these days I'll buy another set of Blaster perforated leathers too. Those things were the most comfortable pants I'd ever ridden in. They had much better air flow than jeans, and of course they were padded better. On one hand, it's a shame the paramedics had to cut them off me, but OTOH I'm glad I was wearing them. |

I too live in Florida, and I wear the Cortech GX Air; another alternative. Just keep the air moving... http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/product.php?produc tid=10&cat=25 |
