I just completed a 3200 mile round trip from Central Texas to the Black Hills of South Dakota. What a great trip.

The Black Hill are a great place. Did you take any of the back canyon roads and fire roads up there?

No, I stayed on paved roads. I took 14A from Spearfish to Deadwood back to Sturgis. 14a was a pretty cool road. Lots of nice corners and great views. The Forest Service had lots of Fire Fighters in the area because of the Wild Fires. I'd like to go back and check out the Fire roads.
Highway 14a outside of Deadwood, S.D.
