Sorry to start another *&^% fan thread but on four different occasions, when I turn my bike off, the fan cycles off and after a few minutes but then turns back on and never turns off until I go over and turn the key on and off. I am afraid to walk away from the bike now and come back to a dead battery. I'm also wondering how to get a dealer to look at this when it only does it every 100 rides. Anyone else have this experience? Any suggestions on what to ask for to get it fixed? Thanks, Mark |

Sounds like you have a pinched wire somewhere. I would start looking for a kinked/chaffed/strained harness. |

A low battery, or voltage drop (due to a loose connection, or poor ground) can cause this kind of symptom. When the supplied voltage, to an ECM, drops below its nominal value, the control unit operation can become unpredictable. This type of symptom happens all the time with autos. Check the battery voltage and of course the connections. |
