The title says it all. How do they work. Do they put tension on the bar itself or does it grip the flared portion on the inside of the grip? | ||

I know one of the Penny Tech solutions for the Beemer crowd is to get an appropriately sized o-ring to slip between the grip and controls housing. Ideally you want one that is small enough to stay on the grip when you do not need that function. | ||

I tried the O-ring thing once. I don't know if a thick enough O-Ring exists! I got the biggest one I could, and as soon as I slid it over the crack, down it went! Had to remove the grip to get the dang thing back out! Now I have one like the picture posted above. Works great. | ||

I put the oring on the outside of the grip, between it and the bar end. No fishing for it on the outside, and it works fine. It is easier to roll onto the grip that way when you dont need it. |
