I was wondering about mounting a small plastic plate on the side of the oil cooler cover so I could stick my NYS inspection sticker on it and not on the fork. Maybe rivet it on. Anyone done this or think of a reason not to?

Also I removed the spacer from the front turn signals. It bugged the hell out of me to see them hang out there so far. Only issue I had was I broke both outer covers in the process. They sell for $2 so I figure its no biggie. Why are they mounted with a spacer? Electrical tape to the rescue!!

Here is how I mounted a small aluminum plate for my military vehicle sticker. Works great and less filling...

Virginia has 2 big square stickers for registration and inspection. I have seen dealers mount them right on the oil cooler air scoop. I like my PA inspection on the upper fork leg (less obvious). Won't they mount yours above the lower tree? Pa only says it has to be 'clearly visible' and on the left side of the bike.

Those light bars were being sold on here some time ago, but they are sold out and no longer being produced.

I guess in NY the sticker has to be mounted on the frame or a fork.... a structure that can not be removed. I am going to make a mount like you have anyway Maximum.

Froggy can you take the measurements of that bracket and post it here please? I am going to see if I can get a guy at work to make a few and maybe I can sell them for little here to others that asked for them.

Alright ill measure it when I go to put the lights on this weekend. I saw the other thread asking for them, but I was a bit hesitant because I didn't want to step on anyones toes. Afterall, it took time and energy to design and make them.

Go ahead and give the dimensions. I am planning on making an illustrated guide to making your own bracket soon. If I have really blown out my knee, It may be much sooner.
