I am thinking of repainting my Uly. I am wondering what to paint it with, type of paint. The HB hard bags are plastic the frame is a coated aluminum. I am thinking I could just prep all the metal a bit and paint over what's there now and be ok. I don't know about the plastic bits though. Any advice? | ||

I'm buying the '08 blue parts, been hoping for a blue Uly but can't do a brand new one right now. I don't know squat about paint so the '08 parts in my perfect choice of blue is gonna be great! Maximum's done some awesome color changing to his Uly, maybe he'll pitch in. | ||

How about the cylinders, can I use a engine block paint on them or is it going to mess up what cooling there is? | ||

Are we talking of the same greenman? I am referring to the mythic one you sometimes see made into wood carvings, a mans face twigs leaves and branches for hair etc.. I always thought they were cool carvings. I didn't know there was a burning. I'll see if I can find a picture. adding, I googled and found the greenman festival. I had no idea there waqs a greenman festival, too cool. Here is a simple drawing. I have seen much more elaborate and in color pictures with fall colors, that was the one I liked to use as a starting point. (Message edited by Bertotti on July 31, 2007) | ||
