have an 07 Uly - and am wondering if the lower seat is actually lower than the factory seat - something in the back of my mind tells me the 07 factory was an 06 lowered. Anyone actually ever get one of these puppys and try it out? | ||

yes it is lower. search and you'll find a wealth of info here with photos of them compared. fyi, i stayed with the '07 with a 30" inseam. it is more comfy than the 06 low gel. | ||

Not sure if I'm reading your post correctly, but if you check the part number on the low seat on the Buell website - the digits after the dash -06 indicate the year model. There is only one low seat and it came out before the 07 Ulys. The '07 seat is NOT the same as the '06 low seat. I have the '06 low seat... It's not super comfortable for long rides but pretty decent for shorter rides (a couple hours). It's a God send compared to the tall seat for dirt riding. I've heard the '07 seat is more comfortable... I'd be willing to trade... | ||

Growl - the 07 stock seat is just over $100. Much cheaper that the 06 low and much more comfortable! | ||

that is a matter of taste, I have both and perfer the 06 low over the 07, the 06 low has a shorter seat area and really holds me on hard acceleration, also the 07 has sort of a hard line where the front stops and starts the back plateau, that bugs me after awhile. | ||
