Trying to change out the muffler so I can put on a drummer. The only issue so far is the torca clamp. This would be the first time the thing was removed and its not budging. Any ideas, suggestions to ease its removal? Thanks!

Spray it will some WD40 (get the threads) and wait about 5 minutes.

Then try to back the bolt off again.

Or better yet get on down to the hardware store and get either a can of Aero-Kroil or PB Blaster. WD-40 is not a penetrating oil it is mainly for W-ater\moisture D-isplacement. If all else fails put some heat on it.

Loosen the nut and spread the clamp apart with a large screwdriver or other such prying instrument.

Apply some anti seize to the head pipe and the clamp during reassembly.
