Anyone else getting excited? Well, DUH! I'm as excited as a school girl on crystal meth!  I'll make sure and post a butload of pics... For all those that aren't lucky enough to make it. Crusty, it's too bad we're not riding out to VT this year(Our son is still a bit too small to take THAT kind of ride), or we'd just ride back with you. Since we're leaving for VT the Monday after homecoming. | ||

I was going to ride up with Etennuly but my wife kindly reminded me I had promised to pick her up at the hospital after some routine testing. I can get permission and understanding for most things but not being here would be a real stretch. Ride safe, post stories and pics. Especially embarrassing pics of my good riding buddy Etennuly. I feel like I have a cursed bike. I spooned a new set of tires on tonight, and the rear has about an eighth inch of slop in the bearings. My dealer is getting tired of seeing me I am sure. If they dont have bearings in stock, I dont think I will be at homecoming. I had a great time at last years homecoming, and I looked forward to putting faces to names. | ||

Make sure all that are coming to the races stop by and visit in the pits. Look for bikes 171, 9, 991, 258. Hell, make sure to stop by all Buell racers! I'll be at the track the whole time. Kinda sucks missing all the other fun. | ||

Excited? I'm not sure what I am. I have been working on the Homecoming for the last couple of months and I can't believe that it's almost here. By the way, anyone needs a bike, I still have a Ulysses and a City X available for rent. Don't forget to sign up for our VIP Welcome event at Great Lakes Dragway next Thursday. Registration is just $5.00. That gets you into the track for free, food and soda at the track, and a great time! We will be leaving the dealership at 4:00 pm to ride to the track. Steve Mackay and Brian "Tattoodnscrewd" have planned out a great ride. To register, just call me or stop by the store when you get into town. We also have Team Extreme Street Stunts putting on several shows at the dealership that day. So if you've never seen a stoppie in person be sure to check these guys out. On Friday we will be leading a ride to the Buell Factory for the tours and seminars. Stands up at 8:30 am. We also will be doing something special for the MotoST Races at Road America on Sunday. Two people will be chosen by a drawing as "Crew Members for a Day". on Saturday, July 7th. To enter the drawing you must register in the store between 8:00 am, Monday, July 2nd and 12:00 pm, Saturday, July 7th. You must be 18 years old and a Buell owner to enter the drawing. I was at the dealer maybe on Tuesday and they had not got to it...they say "two weeks" from the time you drop it off...Then they will have to determine the rotor is bad...then order the parts etc......tell you guys what...I will call them now and see what the latest time frame is..Thanks Court... | ||

OK. I talked to my dealer this afternoon the tech was working on it ...and he has ordered a new rotor and brake pads..I do not know the shippping time that will be involved. | ||

Hey Maximum, Wow, I think it's great that you and your son are coming. I see that you are from Denver, we'll have to get together and talk. I used to live in Denver in the '80's and worked for Gates Rubber. By the way your Uly looks cool. The shows are still kind of up in the air but I think they are going to be around 11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. They are about 20 minutes in length. We are leaving on the ride to the Drag strip at 4:00 pm and wanted to have a show after that for those who would not be joining us on the ride. I hope that helps.
