Yeah all...

I'm looking at replacing my 1998 S3T with a new Ulysses. But I'm having a trouble getting the wife to agree on the Uly.

We've done a couple of test rides but she still hates the seat. Her complaint is with the contouring and width of the seat compared to the Corbin on my S3T. The current seat has a nice "dished" seating area for the passenger.

How is the Corbin for the Uly? I've looked at the pictures on-line but I can't tell how it's cut. Can anybody give me any insight? Or better yet, some pictures of your seat (particularly the passenger area).

Thanks in advance!

Dennis

Also...can anybody get me the actual seat measurements of the passenger area? I need the width and length.

Are you looking at an 06 or 07 Uly? I have pictures of all three seats. By far, the 07 seat has the best comfort for the passenger in my opinion.

Slick....The one Uly ride Mrs. Chrisb went on was with the Corbin on the bike. She kept sliding into me at stops. Not to mention I would slide into the tank constantly. I am a very late braker into turns so the sudden change of body position while in a turn wasnt enjoyable.

She kept sliding into me at stops

In my opinion, that has nothing to do with the seat. We're ridden with the 06 Stock, 06 Low and now the 07 Stock. It's the amount of space between rider and passenger. When I realize Carlos is going to brake, I have to hold the grab bars or I'm going to slide into him.

I try and get a feel for what Carlos is going to do so I can be prepared. It's easier for me to read his body language than it is for him to try and figure out what I'm doing behind him. Of course, he also knows that I'm only going to lean so far, so that probably causes other issues.
