Hey all,
I spent the day installing the Termignoni exhaust that I received from Hillbilly Motors last week. It's a really nice exhaust and sounds great! I haven't gotten a chance to ride it yet but it sounds awesome at idle. I let it idle with the quiet inserts and without and of course I like the sound without the inserts but I wait to see how it is on the road. Overall things went pretty well with the install but the instruction sheet that came with it is poor at best. It has pics but they are small, in B/W and blurry so after a bit of looking and figuring things out I got er done. I've got a few pics and I hope that I can get them on this post (I don't have a place that can host the - yet). I'll post more info after I get to ride it a few days.

Yes that is the exhaust valve that comes with the exhaust. I also have the quiet inserts and will post a pic of one of them.
I got the exhaust and inserts using a tax exemption form (Military benefit here in Europe for some countries) from Hillybilly Motors for 600 Euros. You can find the full retail price on Hillbilly's page http://www.goetz-motorsport.de/go/hbm/db/products/ 3675205.html
The link is for the race exhaust but Jens told me that its the same as the one that they carry that is TUV approved (road legal in Germany).
Total time for the install was probably 5 hours but I kept making mistakes and had to remove things that I had already put back on and I wasn't in a terrible hurry. You also have to drain the oil and remove the filter because you have to remove the oil line and need access to a couple of bolts that are behind the filter.

If you can post up a sound clip when you get a chance. I loved the Termi system I had on my Duc.

Well after riding with the inserts in and out I figured that I'd let you guys know impressions.
Out - sounds really good although a bit loud for everyday commuting but perfect for having a bit of fun. Lots of popping on deceleration. Really nice deep sound, much better that the Buell race exhaust - in my opinion.
In - Just right for everyday riding. Still has a really nice deep tone but not as loud, of course. Still hear the decel popping.
After I return from my trip (headed to the German Alps for a few days of camping and riding!) I'm going to add a few holes to the airbox and switch to a K&N/Buell race type air filter. The bike will be due for it's 10K service so the TPS will be reset then as well. I guess that I really just need to go ahead and buy the software so that I can do that on my own.
I will try to make a short recording so that everyone can hear what the bike sounds like now.

A big "Thanks" goes out to Jens and Oliver at Hillbilly Motorsports!

What is the price of that exhaust? Is it quieter than the race can?

Follow this link for price, which is in Euros so you'll have to use an online converter.

I would say that the exhaust is about the same loudness as the Buell race can with the inserts in and louder with them out but sounds better in my opinion.

Im not sure about Fuel injection, but with a Carb style bike Popping during deceleration is a sign of a lean Pilot jet.. thats the one for off idle to 1/4 throttle. is it possible the FI map is off a bit ??

This outfit in Canada lists the Buell exhausts and stainless headers as well.

Did this end up working with the stock interactive exhaust actuator?
