It seems every motorcycle magazine delivered to my house in the past 2 months is drooling all over the new Ducati. It looks like a nice bike. I really like the integrated turn signals in the hand guards with the bar end mirror arrangement they are using.

Have any of our more creative/talented Uly riders given any thought to trying to cobble together something similar on their bikes?

When I saw that in Motorcyclist this month, I have been thinking the same thing for the blinkers. I am looking for the right LED to fit.

I'm thinking...Whale Harpoon Launcher. You know, for those cagers that change lanes on us. Seriously, I'll wager that it has a clearer view since there is no stalk to amplify vibration. And it certainly goes along with Erik's theme of parts doing more than one thing to help lighten the load. When I saw this setup in CycleWorld I was thinking the same thing. In that same vein the Harley Nightster uses the rear blinker lights as tail lights. Harley sells kits that do that for their bikes.

Enjoy valve adjustments, throttle body syncs, chain lubing and adjustment, and having empty pockets. : ) LOL!

Just kidding...I am a Ducati lover and would give just about anything to have a Hypermotard.

Valve check intervals now 7500 miles, I've got a great clean chain lube, and chains hardly need adjusting anymore.
Empty pockets .... well I did order the factory Termignoni 2 into 1 full system. $$ Don't ask !

Man, if I had those on the Uly they would already be gone.

I hit enough bushes going through corners I wold never take the hand guards off.

That's always been one of my pet peeves - take a great looking naked bike and stick those butt-ugly translucent round plastic reservoirs out in front. It's bad enough when they get hidden behind a fairing, but putting them out where they can be seen should be criminal. How much more cost or weight could a set of metal reservoirs possibly added?

Dgunther; all you need is to have a friend who is a Machinist. (Here's an opportunity for you Machinists out in the audience!)

You should just pick up a set from Ducati and stick em on your Buell.

I think there only like $560.00

where can you order them from? I checked around and couldn't find the ducati's with the integrated lights. only race hand-guards.
