Hey Ohio BadWebbers, I need to go for a good ride this Saturday and wanted to ask if any BadWebbers are interested. I'm thinking about taking off from the Cleveland area around noonish, heading down to Youngstown to stop at the Youngstown HD/Buell shop. From there head down through Salem and then onto New Philadelphia. Adventure HD is there. After that TJ's restaurant in Stone Creek. Their special on Saturday is Prime Rib for $11.95 and it is fantastic. This place is a slice of Americana. After that I would like to get back to Cleveland by dark. I haven't planned an exact route, but I plan on hitting lots of turns. There are lots of great ones between Salem and New Philadelphia. If you are interested, let me know. If the times aren't quite right, I can adjust a bit. Or if you can meet along the route, let's do it. | ||

I wish I could make it. I teach a BRC class this weekend and then on Sunday after I'm done with class I am heading to Nelson Ledges for my "Beginning Road Racer School" This is my first track day and I am really looking forward to it. photo's to follow..... | ||

I would love to, but I am headed to southern Oh for an overnight visit with friends. I want to ride down and get a pic of the Uly in the Big Muskie bucket. That would be a good ride. | ||

Wow, sounds like both of you will have some fun. I've got some really cool roads in mind, like route 9 out of Salem. Open spaces, farm country, hills and turns. Anyone else temped? | ||

Have you ever ridden Oh rt 555? You can catch it out of Zanesville, and it goes to the Ohio River. Oh rt 60 out of ashland to zaneyville will get you warmed up for a road like the dragon, but 40 miles long. Throw in some gravel and deer, and the decreasing radius, off camber, blind downhill corners get real exciting. Lots of elevation changes. Actually, any triple digit st rt down there is like riding the wild mouse at the county fair. I miss southern oh, and northern ky. | ||

Had to add this since I saw this post: Big Muskie  We went on OH 555 this spring, but it was COMPLETELY covered in small pea gravel crap. It was miserable. I've heard its great when clear. I'd love to meet up with other Ohio Buellers for a ride, but it'll have to be a Sunday sometime. | ||

Too bad I missed the ride. My Uly needs to stretch it's legs other than to work and back, Stow to Parma. Have you tried OH 93 above Zanesville? Great riding North through "old" Amish country. Good road, just stay off the edge lines, too much green "stuff" there. Are you trying to show up the competition? Parking in front of KTM, and the Jap dealer. Trying to show them what a real bike is?  | ||
