I want to get my pipes Jet-Hotted, and switch out the stock for a Drummer, but I don't think i would get the Drummer if it voids the warranty. | ||

I don't think it will in most cases but it might be prudent to keep the stock muffler just in case something happens where you need to re-install it. I guess if you burnt a valve or something like that they might scoff the aftermarket muffler as being the cause but I doubt that's going to happen. The Race muffler is probably the best sounding without being obnoxiously loud. That's the one I'm running and I like it! BC Steve | ||

Thanks Steve. I was having a hard time finding the race muffler, hence the decision to look into the Drummer. I've looked on Ebay, and nothing came up. I don't mind obnoxiously loud, I hate my neighborhood. San Jose, Ca. is sportbike central, and the guys who run 14,000rpms down the nearby highway are far more obnoxious than a new can on the Uly. | ||

San Jose! Cool! I live up in Boulder Creek! Drop by Big Dogs on the corner of Foxworthy and Cherry on Fridays from about 6:00 to 8:00. Bunch of us hang out there. Buellers, and Sportsters. Cool! See you then. Hopefully my bike will be back by then. The voltage regulator went out yesterday on the way to work. Suposedly they are on back order....Parts guys are trying to locate one from another dealer. BC Steve |
